Tambran (Tamarind) Ball is a traditional snack and is especially loved by children because of its sweet-sour-peppery taste. This conglomeration of sweet and sour goodness is surely up anyone's alley.
The Tamarind in Trinidad is very sour and cannot be eaten naturally by some people. Tamarind, however, makes a good tambran ball and sauce for pholourie and doubles. There is sweet tamarind variety which is also getting popular recently in Trinidad and Tobago. This sweet type comes from Thailand. It has a more tolerable, natural taste than the local variety because of its natural sweetness.
Paula Tamarind Balls are a perfect size as each pack contains four Tamarind Balls and make for a perfect snack, especially for children. Enjoy these Tamarind Balls today!

I wasn't sure about this Paula brand at first so I was a little skeptical, however, I tried it and absolutely loved it. It was a great balance of sweetness and pepper. I guess Paula is becoming a very popular brand back home as my sister recently traveled home and she said she seen it everywhere. Thanks again MyTriniGrocery.
