Want to add the taste of Trindad to you dishes? Just add this exceptional hot pepper sauce, during cooking or as a condiment. Pepper sauce is a must have in most Trini cooking.
Scotch bonnet chili peppers are a favourite in Trinidad but there are other very hot varieties like Congo, Bird Pepper and Seven Pot. Seven pot pepper, especially, is so hot that you cannot hold it with your bare hands or else your hands will burn you.
Besides the burning sensation of hot peppers, hot peppers have their own nutritional value. For lovers of hot pepper, you should be glad to know that it contains Vitamins A, C, and E and also Capsicum. This Chief Chunky Yellow Hot Sauce goes great on many local dishes such as pelau, macaroni pie, stew chicken or even on some roti. Enjoy and use sparingly!

This brought back fantastic memories ...I last had this kind of pepper sauce about 40 years ago when living in T&T and have been searching for something similar ever since (because I can't make my own!). It's so much more tasty than the rubbish you get in most supermarkets which are mostly too acid. Take it alongside the Kuchela........party-time!
